Getting to grips with the Chameleon project again. Because the Cenerino alabaster is quite hard, and also doesn't bruise like the white Spanish alabaster, I've started using a chisel and wooden mallet, which makes the work go much faster. I might actually manage to finish this piece by the end of term! Meanwhile I've been working on a couple of maquettes in clay for another future piece. |
